praise & worship
Did you know that praising and worshiping God every day helps us to shift focus from our problems on to His promises for us? We can magnify the Lord’s name and minimise our worries and cares when we incorporate ways of honouring Him, affirming His worth, exalting and praising Him for Who He is, not just what He’s done. Jesus told the woman at Jacob's well that the Father is seeking such people as those who worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). True worship transcends space, culture, tradition and time.
You can worship Him in your garden, in the peace of a comfy chair with a cup of coffee or when you drive to pick the children up from school so long as it is heartfelt and sincere, trusting in Christ. You don't have to feel good and have everything going right for you in order to praise and worship God, in fact, the bible teaches that when you lift up your voice to praise and worship Him intentionally, even when you are feeling your worst, things can start to change.
